Life is that good; it really, really is.

Sometimes the sun shines the brightest just when you bought a new pair of sunglasses.

Sometimes the flavored coffee is Cinnamon Nut on Saturday morning.

Sometimes he wants to meet downtown for lunch and beer (and maybe even some shopping).

Sometimes you feel cheery and special and exactly right.

Yeah, life really is that good.

Just Go!
Don’t think about it any longer!
Don’t weight the possibilities,
Stew over the potential drawbacks.
Don’t consider all the consequences,
You already know them all in your heart.

Life is precious!
Don’t say “maybe next year”
Or “it just doesn’t make sense right now”
So what if it doesn’t make sense?
Not everything needs to be justified or reconciled.

A little known fact about me, or maybe not so unkown,

is that I have an undying love for Topher Grace.

I fell in love with him in his early days of That 70's Show

and time has only strengthened my love for him.

One day he will find me,

and we will ride off into the sunset together.

Until then, I will admire you from afar.

Call him a geek, call him quirky, skinny, girly,

I will always love you, Topher.

I love a good, lazy Sunday. Sleeping in, making breakfast, a refreshing workout, and hours of Bravo.

But what if that honestly bordered on malice?

Threatened someone's well-being, self-confidence?

Would you use your moment of truth to break someone down

or build that person up?

Think about what you're going to say.

I'm going to blame my extended absence on my winter hibernation.

Now that it is February, and I am escaping to Florida in a matter of hours,

I muster the strength to accept and realize that while, yes, it is still winter,

the warm glow of spring at the end of this long winter tunnel

is beginning to beckon.

So I say, hello world.

Hello winter,

Hello palm trees,

Hello friends and loved ones.

I have returned.

A cool word of advice on this sweltering Happy Tuesday.

Everyday, acknowledge the good in yourself as well as others.

Each night, before you go to sleep,

think back upon what you have done that day that you are proud of

-be it grand or small.

But also, think about what others have done

What is it about new that makes things burst with excitement and fear and wonder all at once?

For me, new isn't always the easiest thing.

Sure it's great to start something new; find a new friend, make a fresh start, wear something shiny.

But the prospect of the unknown can be rather scary.

Lately, I am challenging myself to work on new, while keeping the old -the true and faithful.

It takes courage and confidence, it takes help, and it takes a quietly-solid belief in yourself.

Have you ever thrown a fist full of glitter in the air?

A bit of spontaneity and a sprinkle of hope for good measure.

Toss it up into the air and let the Universe take its course.

Don't hold on to it; let it go.

Let yourself be moved by something.

And, obviously he's been raised right; cubbie fan already!

We tried to play bags, but he didn't quite grasp the concept.
